I played a huge amount of Warband back in 2013, before I went over to Total War games for. What? Did I miss something? Are the combat changes alone not a stunning masterpiece? Did y'all ever play a siege in Warband? but they are still a mess, and comparing it to a literal 10 year old game is just comical Let's be entirely honest the bannerlord sieges look much better and if the ai doesn't fail at some point they are an improvement Major pathing problems in most castles often turning it into a game of hide and seek by the end to find the 1 militia who fell and is stuck while fighting your own army because they won't jump down but also won't attack or move without orders. The ai still uses towers like trash to the point you are almost better off not having them Yes it is miles ahead of the 'horde archers and murder them then retreat and go again until you win' or ' taunt the insultingly bad ai by standing on the ladder and just stabbing for 20 minutes until you in' I have riously more warband than most (due in large part to living in a dorm without internet access for quite a while) Taleworlds said EA would be around one year, and I know that was only an estimate, but it is still laughable how wrong that was. You should be able to have more options when it comes to workshops (having the goods stored in the warehouse like you could in Warband) and for caravans, controlling what goods they buy and sell and what cities to visit. 5 denars per looter, when in Warband if you sold to the slave trader you could get 50, or the normal ransom broker you would get 30. Armor and weapon prices are still ridiculous. Also the in game banner creator is far worse than simply getting to pick from ones that actually look good. You still can't hoist your banner into battle, for god's sake. For this reason alone, even vanilla Warband feels more alive and real than Bannerlord, and I'm not the only one who feels this way. The fact that there are no more personal relationships, only clan ones, contributes to the game feeling "dead", and the personalities of lords don't seem to have much effect on their actions. There still aren't manhunters and deserters. You STILL can't ask "a quick question" or have a feast. The game world feels dead and shallow because of the lack of content and the lack of options when communicating with people. what exactly should I be doing? Regular Warband strategy of going around grinding bandits and buying up enterprises ASAP doesn't seem to work here.Yes. No biggie, except the quests I got were to go kill Monk Rebels lol. I got some gear after becoming an Oda Master Gunner, but the guildmaster at Kiyo-something asks that I do a few quests before I can get an enterprise.
I can usually outrun them but there's so many that I get surrounded from all directions on the map.
There's literally small armies of them everywhere and they have these huge ass polearms AND guns.
I've been trying out the Gekokujo mod since I heard it was one of the easiest and fun mods for Warband.
